The Northern Beaches of Sydney sometimes gets a rough time. People think all the locals just sit around talking about fashion, real estate or what type of fashionable real estate they want to one day buy. This could not be further from the truth though if you cared to venture north of the big coat hanger and visit any one of the beaches.
The boys over this way surf more than anyone I know and always the keenest of the bunch to chase swells. Sure they take their time ordering expensive fine ground coffee imported by tanned expatriates who now call these yellowed beached home, but hell you got to have fuel in the tank if your going to shred.
One spot is owned by the local bodyboarders and is the breeding ground of former 2 time World Champion Ben Player and now like captain Ahab took on moby dick there is a new group of ready first hands to tackle that whale.
Ewan Donnachie and Max Aren't are just two of many and this gallery shows you that the mythical giant whale wont rest for long.
