The talent pool is thick and heavy right now in WA. For a brief time there was some talk of the glory days of the late 90's early 2000 being a thing of the past. But with the amount of young guys coming through and the older guys getting behind them and pointing them in the right direction its clear that in 2010 WA has some of the best up coming riders.

Guys like Chad Jackson and Ryan Hardy who are global stars still head down the coast to the local wedge when it's on. Then boys like Jake Stone and Mitch Woodland who are imports but now locals show up and the new guys like Alex Halsey, George Humphries and Lewy Finnegan enter the line up and its a full house.

The line up on this session which local photographer Chris Gurney shot is basically an evolutional table of WA bodyboarding in 2010. Keep an eye out for all things WA on the World Tour and Australian Tour with talent like this.
