Thomas Robinson-
This trip I was actually away with Jeff Hubbard shooting for a magazine profile in le BOGIE and we crossed paths with some of the Zion crew filming for clips. We surfed and shot for around 2 hours this day. The day before some local looney was on the rocks trying to smash some kids camera gear. Lets just say I was not going to go down without a fight if he tried that shit with me.

Joe Clarke-
West Oz this time and at a spot I had not shot before. After travelling to the region for the last 10 years shooting, The Womb had always been a spot I had either never bothered or heard it was shit that day kind of a deal. After a frustrating couples of days seemingly dodging good waves we scored perfect pits all afternoon with no one out. I will be returning to The Womb next time for sure.

Joe Clarke -
This forward air shot of Joe is taken from the same trip as mentioned above. This is early morning box. I treated this image with an orange filter to enhance and give it a surreal effect. It looks as if Joe might be landing into dead water but he actually dropped into the flats in front of the wave.

Ben Player-
This drop at the Zone was a shot which I have held onto for sometime. Ben and I had planned on making a project together and it was in the pile to be used, but the project never got legs. You can see that housing in the left hand side. That is Luke Shadbolt and his sequence of this wave appeared in Movement magazine. Ben made this wave and I think it shows his amazing skills in heavy waves. Not many people out there can stick to the face of waves like this.

Joe Clarke-
Rabbits in WA is often only shown from the angle of the carpark or beach access track. Sure it does look amazing but when I noticed an old couple up the beach watching from in front I went for a walk with my mid range lenses and nailed this shot. It shows how down the line this wave actually is when your riding it. This shot reminds me of a view of Kirra I have stuck in my mind from the mid 90's when I first paddled out.

Jake Stone-
Right up there with one of the best tow bodyboarder tricksters, Jake is a freak in the air. This late afternoon shot was shot in WA and with the setting sun and heavy cloud I moved out to the back of the waves trying to get the glow of the sun on him. Today actually is Jakes birthday so happy birthday mate!

Thomas Robinson-
Shot in the very north of the West Coast of America. This image is from a trip I did last year to the region in search of some new slabs. Even though the sun is shinning and the sky is clear you have no idea of how cold it was out there. You could only last a few short hours before it just was too dangerous to keep surfing. You might think Thomas is taking off on the shoulder but this wave breaks so fast you have a slim chance of sitting deep and actually catching waves when they come through.

Brad Hughes-
Another shot from the America trip. This time surfing some fun wedges around Santa Cruz. This place has one of the biggest seal colonies around so you guess what else lurks around the joint! With the cold water and the thick suits, I was pretty impressed by the guys being able to still perform moves like this day after day.

One in twenty-
You will check this spot 20 times and the one time you drive past it it's bound to be on. This day was like many of those days I had driven past it in the past. I made a call to check it and it paid off with 6-10ft grinding slabs. Since then I have checked it 5 times and its been terrible everytime.

Brad Hughes-
Shot on the South Coast of NSW around Shell Harbour, this image was a lucky one that Brad snuck in off the thick crowd out there. With the surf being pretty big I chose to use non fisheye wide-angle to give the wave the best chance of being shot true to the actual size of some of the barrels out there. I like where I was on this wave giving you a full view of the lip and the section Brad is eyeing off.
