The conditions have been pretty lumpy and bumpy but there were a few little moment out Pipe today. The afternoon session was the pick with nice trade winds and around 6-8ft of swell coming in. Checked in for the event and the talk around town is that the waves are not looking to epic for the first few days of the waiting period. All the guys have turned up now and I just moved into a new house with Chad Jackson, Jake Stone and Chris White. Heading out now for some late Backdoor action as this may be the last chance to surf before the swell turns too north and pipe is turned into a right hand point break.
