Transmission Lewy Updated News from the road.

FRIDAY.
On friday Wez drove me down to dave's house on the south coast to hopefully score some waves. The trip took longer than usual because we went the scenic coastal way and drove through some pretty amazing suburbs and towns. We saw a whale and drove along a road that went over a cliffy shoreline, which was a wicked experience. We eventually got to the Winchesters and took Coco to the park for a bit of a play. After saying goodbye to Wez we went home and got some sleep.

SATURDAY.
On saturday me, dave, and Matty (Mcarthur) checked a reef break a bit furthur south but it was a bit wonky from the rank wind, so we went to a protected little beachie that offered some 1 - 2 ft wedgie peaks. It was a pretty fun surf and Dave definately got the best wave of the day towards the end of the surf. We went home after the surf and played with the little girls, had dinner, and went to bed pretty early.

SUNDAY.
On sunday we checked the same reef as the day before and this time it was pumping! The 3 of us headed out to a really fun heavy 3 foot right barrel. The whole time we were saying how good it would be if someone was shooting fisheye, but no one was. We surfed until the went turned south east and went home again.

MONDAY.
On monday Dave, being the caring father that he is, chose to go to the zoo with the family which sounds like it was actually sick! But in the meantime me, Matty and another cool guy Liam Glass surfed really fun nuggan to ourselves! It was the first time i surfed it and i was absoultley frothing! there were a few amazing bowls and we surfed it until the tide started to kill it. Matty dropped me off at the winchesters and by the sounds of things Coco's new favourite animal is the Giraffe. Bed time started getting earlier and earlier as we started surfing more and more.

TUESDAY.
On tuesday we went to nuggan again early and was amazingly fun. After about hald an hour a bit of a crowd came down but everyone seemed to be really nice. A storm started brewing and it came over us pretty quickly, closely followed by an onshore wind. Everyone bailed but we stayed out and tried to get a few more. After a few washthrough sets and a few good bowls we paddled in. We paddled all the way to the sand from nuggan and i have never got so drilled at such a little wave. I took my leash off and got and started walking along the slippery rocks on the shore. I was almost all the way in before a set came and started darining on the reef. Being a rookie, i fell over and got sucks off the reef into a hole at the edge of the shelf. After being sucked left right and centre i finally got in from only being about 3metres off shore with Dave laughing at me holding my board for me. That arvo Matty and i surfed his local beachie wedge that was really fun. It was about 2 foot but every now and then an absolute pearler would come through. We surfed til dark and i was in bed before 8.30!

WEDNESDAY.
Today is wednesday and me, Dave, Liam, and Matty surfed really fun nuggan pretty much all day by ourselves. We were all pretty surprised why we were out by ouselves but after the surf Liam told me that A few groms had seen a shark trying to attack a seal out in the lineup. Luckily the shark didn't return today and hopefully it won't return while i'm still here. Dave and the family are heading to Sydney tomorrow so Liam and his family has kindly accepted me to stay with him for a few days. There should hopefully be a few waves in the next few days before i fly out on Tuesday. TIME FOR DINNER!
