Some of the world's best bodyboarders are in the process of arriving in South Australia for the forth stop on the Rebel Sport Australasian Pro Bodyboarding Tour, The Heatworks Pro.

The event will be held at Knights Beach in Port Elliot, which is one of the most notorious bodyboarding waves on the planet.

Official event surf forecaster from fluidzone Craig Brokensha expects the event will see some excellent conditions across the weekend.

"We're looking at a great weekend of waves for the Heatworks Pro".  Said Brokensha

"A medium to large sized south-west swell should build during Saturday and peak on Sunday morning creating challenging waves for competitors. Winds will be fresh and gusty from the west-northwest on Saturday which will add a bit of chop to the waves, but Sunday morning is looking excellent with moderate to fresh NW winds".

The event has attracted around fifty of the best riders in Australasia and South Africa with a $5,000 cash pool on offer.

The Heatworks Pro has always been a pivotal event on the Aussie Tour, with many winners of the event going on to become the Australasian Pro champion.

Surfing South Australia's Events Manager Tim Doman is wrapped to be bringing the event back to South Australia for the fifth year in a row.

"The event has really become a staple part of the Aussie Tour and we love having all the interstate guys over to surf our wave, it really helps to inspire our up and coming riders" said Tim.

The event gives the perfect opportunity for South Australian aspiring bodyboarders to mix it with their favorite bodyboarding idols.

"Each year we have drawn some of the worlds best bodyboarders to the event including Dave Winchester, Mitch Rawlins and Jake Stone.

"I think the quality of the field is testament to the event but also the great wave that we have here in our backyard",  said Tim.

The event will be webcast live at www.heatworkspro.com
