Wollongong Bodyboarders (WBB) are a great crew - they ride hard and polish their tech work. Jason (Jason Mcarthy who is listed 1st in the DK division below) manages to keep them in line to get everything run and won.
Clubs can't run without a lot of help and Luke Clements (who is a memebr and competes with WBB as well as shoots between hi heats) has been a ledge this round, supplying me with a great written report PLUS a load of great pics. Gear like this is what gets crew hyped and pumped for the next round. Good onya Luke. If you're a photog and know a local club has a comp going down - head down and grab a few frames of the shredding. The pics are gold, especially for riders who may not normally get photographed.

We arrived at Creekies, Wollongong to see welcoming sight of pumping 4-6ft waves with a moderate offshore wind blowing making conditions absolutely perfect, and was looking to be our best comp yet!
We had our first heats out in the water by 7am and there was some great surfing going down and some epic barrel rides!!
One of the highlights from the day was when Todd Mcrorie caught a solid wave which some thought was going to close out on him then all of a sudden lines it up and hits the lip with perfection to pull off a massive air reverse! The conditions stayed good all day which meant the finals were bound to be great, and they were with all the guys in the different divisions pulling of some sick maneuvers!
