Youth are our future. It's a fact in Bodyboarding. Too much focus at the top and and not enough with the up and coming rippers means no depth in our riders. Grand Flavour is one of the companies backing Youth, giving the support that's needed to get the waves and mentoring that will give us future world champs and macking free riders. I caught up with Chad Jackson to ask him about the concepts behind Grand Flavour backing these young blokes:

Basically we have an awesome bunch of young guys on the GF team who are right now leading the pack of the next generation. Guys like Jared and Cade have stepped up and out of the grom stage so our 3 main young riders would consist of Lewy Finnegan, Charlie Holt and James Purvis. They are all leaders in there own right and are clear front runners in there own regions. The seniors of our team have definitely put in the time with these guys to help develop them but are all naturally skilled in there own right. Our youth is such a precious resource as they will be our future leaders of the sport. It is imperative we put in as much time as possible into there development and by sponsoring these particular guys have helped open new doors for them. The betting man which I am, I would have no problems putting my cash down on Lewy Finnegan as a future world champ....
