Headlanders have had their rego day and first comp. they're on the ball and this report has been submitted by Frank McDonald. Please note the photos are by one of the dads, Cliff Russell. Local club riding has a big family element with everyone chipping in to get things done. Parents of the groms are invaluable and thanks from all the Grass Roots crews go out to all these invaluable helpers. Worth your weight in gold. If you have a camera and can get down to the local comp, the groms especially will love you bigtime for a few shots to show their form and promote the club on their facebook/blog/site.

First contest of the year at Suffolk Park on Sunday. The surf and weather left a little to be desired but as everyone was keen to get in the water the call was made to proceed and fun was still had by all.
