Events 2012 DKWT Update

The 2012 DKWT will kick off in just under a weeks time with the trials event to be held at Sandy Beach which will give a massive 8 spots to qualifying trialists for the Pipeline Challenge. Pitted against the top 16 DK riders from the 2011 tour and 8 wildcards from around the world, including Kainoa McGee, Mason Rose, Matt Lackey and Grant Molony to name a few. The main event at the Pipeline Challenge will kick off on the 15th February until the 24th.

Then it's off to Peru for the 2012 Peruvian Inka Challenge which this year is boasting the biggest prizemoney for any DK event this year with $12k and 2200 points towards the world tour, so its a must do event for the DK guys that are chasing the tour.

This year 3 GSS DKWT events will count towards the world title along with 1 International event so its a massive start to the year.

Sintra Portugal Pro - Aug 29 - Sept 2
Ferrol Pro - Sept 5 - 8 (International)
Jenks Pro - Sept 4-10 (International)
Bodyboard Pro Festival (Venezuela) - 27-30 October
Encanto World Series (Puerto Rico) - 2-13 November
