As you'll be well aware, Fluidzone is running the "Tahitian Ten" interview series. Totally epic riders and humble people. One of the difficulties I'm having is getting/finding shots of the local boys that really show their riding well. I spoke to the locals about this and they sent me this shot (featured).
It seems that rule number two has not been followed almost at all. A couple of photogs have been very generous with what they have in the past, but for the amount the boys ride these waves and how often photogs from overseas are shooting on mag trips, mates etc, there are surprisingly few decent shots of the locals.

There's not a lot of cash floating around for the Tahitians to be able to afford the latest gear and housings, so, unlike here, they have very little facility to take good shots with. It certainly isn't that their riding is lacking in any way.

So giving a shout-out to any photogs who have shot there and have bothered to shoot the local crew charging - if you have shots you could forward for interviews, that would be greatly appreciated. If you need a list of the remaining riders I can can easily provide that, just punt me an email. The Tahitian people are very open with welcoming visitors to their magnificent waves, it would be nice to see the gesture returned in kind.
