Our first comp went down at Kiama Wedge in 2-3ft pretty clean conditions and a great sunny day. Our first heat in the water was the groms and it was the final for them aswell as there was only the four of them that showed up, they all surfed pretty well scoring a couple of barrels and pulling of some nice maneuvers and Oliver Hirst took the win. The opens were putting on a good show with some big barrels being ridden, the final was a close one with all the boys going hard at it, but Nathan James was able to make the most of the waves he caught and took it out. The DK's were good to watch with a lot of water getting thrown about and even a couple of nice barrels being made! The juniors was a fun one to watch with the boys all surfing well Aaron Bossyi was surfing really well all day as he took out the juniors and got 4th in DK definetly a good start to the year for him!
