Swell peaked overnight to 2.8 metres and has now backed off to 2.2 metres. Wind is light from the SSE moving SW later. South Greenough has head high sets and free of weed, quality is average with plenty of close-outs to sift through before finding something reasonable. May improve when teh tide runs out. North side of town is a little tidier with chest to head high waves at Pipe and Drummonds. Tide is on the way in to .75m by 11am, low is .32m @ 4.45pm. Air temp max 19, ocean is 19. Looking better for Friday as the swell moderates and the winds move ESE. Sunshine Surfmasters commences Saturday with the first heat commencing 7.30am at Flat Rocks.
